the other day i was driving my wifes car and after about 20 minutes of driving it became difficult to put the car into 1st gear. progressively, i had to start out of 2nd gear, and iot also became diffciult to put it in 2nd gear. the following day i tried to drive it and car wouldnt go in reverse. ive also noticed the clutch is very sensitive and doesnt seem like it has much play in it. i have an integra with a stage 2 racing clutch in it that has more play in it than the mini clutch. any ideas or suggestions? i was told it could be the master cylinder. also, car does have plenty of tranny fluid

 

Master cyl or Hydraulic Clutch line most likely. I had the same problem happen on my old Evo, except this was on a busy bridge in rush hour!

 

If you pump the clutch pedal quickly and it makes the car easier or possible to shift then this is an indication that the clutch fluid level is low. Or it may be too low to even have that work. Either way R53-BRG is most likely correct in their assessment.

 

this happens to me on occasion and it works after putting it into neutral and taking hte clutch out and trying again. i dont know if this helps you any but im trying
