This morning I got the EP code and the SES light while driving. Besides the car revving a little higher than normal, it drove just fine. It showed a P0705 code as well. The EP code cleared a few minutes later without turning the car off and starting it back up. I got the car back to my house to check it out. What I have now is just bizarre.

When I put the car in reverse there is no R indicator, but all the other modes show (even SD and the gear numbers). It will reverse but you have to give it a lot more gas.

Then, when I go to shut the car off, the instrument lights all stay on --some of them even flicker. I had to disconnect the battery to turn them out.

The last time I started the car and tried to shut it off, it stayed on (engine and all) for about five seconds before shutting off. That was with the key removed.

Could someone please explain what the hell is going on and help me with this?
