I need help !!!!

I am getting the following fault codes:

P1607- CAN-Verison
P1612- Serial Communication Link Instrument Pack
P1613- Serial Communication Link ASC (Automatic Stablity Control)

I am using R5/EMX code scan and reset tool .

Can anyone tell me what's wrong with my Mini ( 2004 Cooper coupe).

I got almost the same codes with my '03 MCS, P1613 and P1607. I'm also getting the multiple warning lights on the Dash and Temp gauge going nuts. I've been looking all over for a solution. Were you able to resolve your problem?

 

The OP only has one post going back to 2009. I doubt he still follows the board. Check your battery.

 

Yeah, I noticed the post date before, thought I would give it a shot anyway. Thanks for the reply... I thought about the battery, after all, it is about 8yrs old. I checked it, it gave a 12.5v when the car is turned off, and alternator works as it gave 14v when the car is running.
