Headlight Surround's Bubbling

2007 MCS

The "Chrome" surrounds around the headlights are bubbling on both of my headlight surrounds (one is significantly worse than the other. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Is there a replacement that will not bubble in the future (ie, a painted version which doesnt have the chromed coating)?

Sounds like you have a defective set; like the chrome finish was not properly applied. These may be covered by your warranty, if not elapsed.

Minspeed offers painted replacements: Link I have a set of these in chili red and absolutely love them.
