Hardly 3 weeks old and my car goes into limp mode a third of the way home. It is very hot down here in TX but I wasn't driving very hard as I'm not past break in. Then I get the CEL and got it towed to San Antonio. The tow truck guy had a hard time driving it up the ramp without it stalling. I could move around a parking lot but going past 15 miles an hour was dangerously impossible.

Anyone experienced this before?

How about loaners/rentals when the dealership is 120 miles away from me? I have no idea how I'm going to get myself down to SA to pick it up if/when it gets fixed.

 

Whoops. Missed the sticky up above which describes a similar problem, albeit seems to be more closely related to cold vs mine happening in 106 degree heat.

Can mods delete this thread?
