the fender arch lights to be precise. the first one broke in half when i hit a pothole and i threw it away thinking i would get replacement attachments with the whole part from mini mania and i didn't. but, i remember there were 2 washer like objects that connect to the pins. Do you think it would hold without the washers until i get to home depot? i need to get an idea on the size of the bolt.

They are actually those sheet metal formed nut and washer combination where the threads are the sharp edge of the metal form. Not sure how else to explain it. The formed thread cuts into the plastic pins and creates a thread-like hold. I'm sure a MINI dealer's parts desk would have them. If you are not close to one, call Classic MINI and have them mail you a couple.

This photo is a similar stamped nut. The one holding the side markers doesn't have the notches around the washer-like edge.

www.driveclassicmini.com They are a NAM vendor and you should mention you saw them at NAM to get any discount. Of course, the discount on a couple nuts isn't much.

Yes, in Ohio. Now in the Willoughby area. They moved from the Mentor location.
