Yesterday I went out to move my mini, to take the other mini, and noticed a puddle . Needlessly to say a quick call to Century Mini, and my little beauty was up on a flat bed on her way without me.
When I called today the gentleman on the phone said it was a shaft seal leak, and they were replacing it. Anyone know .. how intensive is this replacement? Like a general time from.. this comes at a bad time, as I was leaving tomorrow to go to the Dragon.. I am not getting a definitive from the dealership when I can pick it up.. it may be done this afternoon.. might be ready to pick up tomorrow.. so.. if anyone has any knowledge of this.. I would be grateful for some insight.. is the Dragon in UnionJackees future??

 

Have you told them when you needed the car??? Which shaft seal is leaking....Probably timewise, the only seal that would give you the shaft is the one in the engines rear.....main. OOOoooohhh, excuseme..I meant if you have the front crank or the two alxe shaft seals, they are pretty easy. Do I need to bring some tools, meet you on the way and put the seal in????

Im biting my nails lol, i called back again.. omg they will hate me.. its my cv joint.. seal .. he said.. and he is pushing to get it done this afternoon..

 

I know, but theyve got to understand your anxiety...! It sounds like they have all the parts then. Thats a good thing. Call me if you need parts and I haven't left yet. I could pick them up from the dealer here if you needed me too.
