Squeaky gas pedal?

Anyone experience the gas pedal squeaking before? Its getting annoying. Can it be removed and greased somewhere? Every time I depress it it squeaks! Arrrghhh!

Then I need to check the brakes as well, they happen to be squeaking now as well, even though they look like they are brand new.

Behind the gas pedal there is the little plunger that goes into the accelerator sensor. Around this there is a rubber surround or grommet. The plunger is rubbing on that grommet. You could bend the grommet away, or use some sort of powdered lubricant to stop the squeak.
