last week I installed my Ian's auto up switch with no problems. Everything seemed fine until Saturday when I get in the car and the windows wont go down and A/C wont work either. After hitting the toggle switch several times with no responce I opened the sunroof. When I did I heard a click that sounded like the windows so I tried again and they went down but A/C still wouldnt work. I called this guy in town who knows a lot about Mini's who happened to be really close by. He reset my A/C with my key and said it seems to be working fine now. I could see the A/C was running on LO and I didnt really play with it any I just turned off and rolled the windows down cause it was a really nice day. Today I get in the car and turn the A/C on Auto, thats what I usually leave it on. The display says LO instead of reading a set digit like Auto should. I turned it off and on to see if that helped but no. It just keeps reading LO. Anyone know anything about this???

 

Do you have a stuck button??? Your saying that you cant change anything on the IHKA panel?

 

sounds very odd. did you re-check your work and see if you pulled a wire when you were back there. id retrace your steps.

 

update.....nothing is wrong with it. Lo is just the lowest setting on Auto, I turned it up and now its back to normal.
