My windsheild washers are not working , just replaced my wiper motors and now the pump is not activating at all . I checked with the hood up and can not hear them working. Do I need to replace the pumps? i understand they are hard to get at. 02 cooper. Thanx in advance any help appreciated. O is it possible they are frozen as I live in Canada and it's bloody cold eh.

 

Hi Kevin, I had the same problem. The temperature was -5 C the pump frozen but I can hear the pump. Thus wait until the temperature come up. Also check the electric wires it might be from the wires.

 

Just washed my mini and lo and behold I tried the washers, they work! We are experiencing warmer temps 3,4 degrees above zero so I guess the pump thawed itself. Merry Christmas!
