I have a 2006 MCS and noticed the upper black trim looking like its been baked in serious heat looks like gator skin and on passenger side actually flaking off exposing metal which is beginning to rust. Anyone experience this? I took it to Mini of Mt View and the foreman and service manager said they've never seen this before. They are going to replace it but its odd............sorry no pix didnt have camera.

Good thing is that I got a brand new BMW 335 w/900 miles to drive . Havent driven one in a while but the twin turbo is such a great engine..........
