Factory LSD going bad?

Hi motorers!

I've had a 2005 MCS transmission with LSD on my 2003 MCS for more than a year now.

Lately, when I take a curve the DSC goes on for no reason and stops the engine's output. I am not talking about crazy speed, just normal driving, for example, an exit on the highway...

Could it be the factory LSD going bad? What are the symptoms of a bad LSD anyway? (no drugs-related jokes please! )

Thanks for any help!

Sorry if this is a bit too simplistic, but I notice my DSC kicks in way more often as my tires begin to show wear. Are your tires in good shape?

Thanks!

I'll have the ABS sensors check at my local MINI dealer tomorrow.

Just a little update...

My MINI advisor called me Friday afternoon. Turns out both rear wheel's speed sensors are defective. $100 each and roughly 1 hour of labor.

I always asked about my cruise control that never worked ever since I got my 2005 transmission installed. They said they need to change the whole CC harness which is $400. I thought it had something to do with the 03 ECU not matching the 05 gear ratio... But if it doesn't work, they won't charge me so I'll give it a try... :-S
