Got your pm, replied and left you a message. Not likely our cars have build dates in common -you have 10k and i have 30k. Had mine for a year if that helps.

One question, Tim: did you oil light ever come on?

Sorry to hear about all the oil shortage-I am from the old school that oil is cheap compared to an engine :smile:
I think the lesson is all cars need checked ,tire pressues also. It seems to me that there is a lot of agressive driving with these cars so lets all keep a watch on them

Glad there is no problems to your engine, I also had to add 1/2 QTR around 8K miles. checking the fluids about once every couple of weeks is always a good idea.

As for the 30K miles in a year, thats all those weekend drives we do in the NY ,CT area I am at 19K+ in 8 months.
