hey guys ok so what does the little fan under the car do?? i have a 02 mcs ...it was making noise when my a/c compressor so the little fan only turns on when the compressor goes off.. so i took it off..... and now my car is overheating and the a/c sucks now.... so what the freak does this little fan do????

 

Well obviously it keeps your car from overheating and keeps your A/C working in tip top shape! If it was making a noise it may be going bad...

 

What fan are you talking about? The one mounted behind the radiator and A/C coil. That's your primary cooling fan. Without it you will overheat within minutes unless you are travelling at highway speeds.

Why did you find a need to disconnect it?

 

Sounds like you are talking about the power steering fan since you have a 1st generation model.
