Glad I found this post. While I was tidying the rats nest of wires under the dash I must have unplugged this sensor. Was scratching my head thinking it must either be the battery or starter not allowing the car to turn over. Going to throw on a zip tie to hold it in place since it easily can become detached.

Found the culprit
maybe it helps others, after lots of investigation, there is a connection from the starter motor positive lead which not on the starter side got loose, it's difficult to spot and after fixing it it runs just fine.
