Power steering acting up
Power steering acting up
Sorry for posting another PS thread.
I drove about 400 miles yesterday, and after about three hours the PS stopped working, then it came back and went again a few times, I stopped to see if I could see if the PS fan was turning freely, but couldn't see it. Took a break and then drove on, the PS worked fine the rest of the trip and when I arrived the PS pump turned off when I turned off the car.
Is it possible that it was a temporary fault? Could the fan be the problem? Should I just take it in to the dealer right away, instead of risking the pump burning out and me ending up being stranded without power?
