Quick post. My car makes a creaking noise when ever I accelerate in 1st and creaks when I accelerate hard in 2nd. I can also make it creak if i brake hard. Basically, I think its when the weight of the car shifts from one side to another due to acceleration or braking. Its coming from the drivers front tire. I'm going to take it to the dealer when I get the chance, i just hate being without a car for a couple of days. Let me know if any of you guys know whats going on or are experiencing the same thing. Just in case it's not the front tires, you might want to have them look at the dash. I had mine fixed when a cross-country trip exposed me to the torture of dash noises. The dealer knew of the problem and soundproofed my dash. Beautiful silence now so all I hear is my MINI exhaust purr, or a spirited corner or two. Good luck.

 

im not too sure its the dash, i took mine in for dash rattles and they sound proofed it as well. But its still might be a possibility.
