Clutch adjustment?

Is it possible to adjust the engagement (friction) point of the clutch? I figured that there's cables and levers involved, so it must be theoretically possible, right? I would like to move a lot closer to the firewall....

No adjustments available! Clutch activation is done with a hydraulic system. No cables, the only lever is pedal to master cylinder. It is normal on R55/56 cars to have clutch pedal higher than brake pedal, probably needs this amount of travel to release properly. I would not attempt to adjust anything in regards to clutch.

I haven't looked under the dash on my Mini but on my previous 350z there was a bolt on the pedal that could be adjusted even though it was hydraulic too. It changed the pivot point and somehow would cause the clutch contact point to be moved either higher up or lower depending on how you wanted it. The pedal stayed the same and only the clutch contact point would change... Nothing like that on the Mini I guess...
