I have searched the threads and have been unable to find out exactally how the power system works. I would think the pump makes full pressure at low speeds and the fluid is bypassed back to the resevour , then when you turn the steering wheel the rack shuttles the pressure to assist turning the wheels. Is this correct? Does the pump run differently at speed? Are there orifices in any of the lines? Do the electronics in the pump do anything besides supply power to the pump? thanks in advance .
