As a matter of fact, yes.Our mini is spending a second weekend in the shop for that problem and the service engine light keeps coming on.Last week it was in because the air bag light ,the DSC and the engine light were all on.It was the third time for the air bag light, they now have replaced all of the wiring for the air bag and it is off for now. The DSC light comes on after a few miles down the road.they too said it was the steering wheel sensor, replaced it and six miles later it came back on.Also the service engine light is on, last week they said it was because I ran the gas level to low, that was wrong it had 3/4 of a tank. They then reset it ,40 miles later it was back on.Took it back in and they installed new software in the computer killing the Jet Performence software, the car runs like crap now and the DSC and service engine light is still on.I have had to take the stock air box and stock wires to them so they could reinstall them to put everything back to stock, they are charging me 2 hours for this, but they will pay for one hour.{ $96.00 an hour shop labor} I told them I would put things back, they said that they could not let me do any work on their property,I then said I would take it down the street and do it, because it would only take me 30 minutes. They said that would be impossible because the dash was out,and that was true,I saw it.They did what they had to do and the service manager drove it home last night and all is the same. Long Beach BMW has been ok I've gotten free loaner cars,Last week it was a Z-4 this week it is a 325 station wagon, They don't know and the mini techs don't seem to know, what to do next. The steering wheel sensor, they reset the first time then they replaced it the second time, still comes on,along with the service engine lightThey are scatching their heads for sure. I hope things go better for you.

My MCS is also in the shop for the weekend due to multiple electrical problems that rendered the car inoperable. I hope Joseph Lucas didn’t have anything to do with the electrics on the new Mini.
