Hi ! The back of my seats are scratched, I'd like to remove these plastic protections. I took the seat out of the mini, but I can't split seat and protection !

It's my understanding that they are only "clipped" onto the frame of the seat.

So, get your fingers in between the seat cover and the plastic backing and yank.

Someone please correct, if I'm wrong.

Then it might be very hard clips, cause I tried and I almost cut my fingers !
Or maybe there is a special way to unclip...

Sorry for the delay. I have been trying to get these things apart to clean them for a while.

Here is a pic that shows the rear panel and the tabs that keep it on.

Here's a so-so shot of the lower part of the panel. Be careful when you pull. The panel needs to be lowered so the two tabs (one on each side) won't be damaged.

Nonetheless, if you grab either side of the top of the panel (near the headrest), grab and yank. Just be careful.

Here's pic of the whole frame.

No wonder they're heavy.

At least they are not flimsy.

Thanks for this explaination !

To make sure I'm right, first I pull the top of the back panel, and then I lower it to remove the bottom. Right?

That's correct. Top needs to be pulled first. That will result in the
first pic you see. There are two stubs/fingers though.

Also, if you are going to remove the whole back piece, you will need to remove both side adjustment *****. I only removed the one with the screws exposed - this let it rotate back enough for me to work.
