04 cooper hesitates when stomping accelerator.

Hi getting my first mini in a few hours. I noticed when test driving if I floor it from a stop (automatic) that it wil start moving then seems to bogg down then take off. If i gradually accelerate the bogg is not there . your comments please. bodman

in an automatic CVT the best launch I can do it put in in Manual mode 1 they rev at 1/2 - 3/4 throttle till 5500 quickly slide to standard and back to Sport...

I learned this from a rather good thread on MINI2 but I dont remember the link any longer.

could be the dsc or traction control . it is quite agressive . try turning it off, if you want burnt rubber.

not really going to burn a lot of rubber if you have good tires on a MINI non-s CVT

light chirp on a hot day is about the best you will get in a strait line
