Oil Pressure? or Sending Unit?

Here's the problem, when I start the car recently it seems the oil light stays on a little longer than it should and the oil pressure gauge (in the chrono pack) stays bottomed out. A quick blip of the throttle and oil pressure rises to normal, the light goes off, and the pressure never drops below normal levels.
Earlier today I started the car without paying attention, and was getting some things straight before I took off and when I finally looked at the gauges, the light was still on, it had been running with the light on for about 45 seconds to a minute. A quick blip of the throttle and the light went out as usual, and there doesn't seem to be any knocking.
My question is if anyone has had similar problems? I'm pretty sure it's just the sending unit, and could probably fix it myself but will probably let the warranty take care of it. Anything else it could be?

My modifications are currently a 15% pulley with appropriate belt, one heat range colder NGK plugs, DDM intake, and one ball. I've been performing oilchanges myself every 5K miles using Mobile One (since it's cheaper to do it myself than to pay for fuel to get to the dealer).

Just replaced my pressure switch yesterday. Same issues that you described. 04 MCS with 82,000 miles.
