Auto A/C - Changing Temperature In Increments of 1?

I saw a post on this form a while back, but I can't find it. Is there a way to make the Auto climate control to allow us to set temperature in single digit increments. Right now it goes from 76 to 78, 80 etc. Just curious if we can set it to do 76,77,78 etc.

Thanks

I think there was a post with a picture of a Euro model that had it set to a non-even temp. I think it's not possible in the US model. Anyone with a Euro model confirm this?

I think you'll find that the A/C actually works in Deg C and it's only the display that can be changed between Deg C/F. I can only change to whole number Degs C and that might account for two-digit steps in Deg F.

oh ok, i thought i had a read a post where a guy held down a button for a period of time and then was able to switch to single digit increments on Fahrenheit. I could have sworn I saw a pic with a 77F on the display.

Nope, if it read odd numbers, it was C.
You can switch between C and F though.

That was my thought. Is there really that much of a noticeable difference between 77 and 78, or 77 and 76?

Or is it more of a mental thing (I'm most comfortable at 76')?

Owning (and properly using) a convertible completely changes you perspective on things like this...

Now, +/-40 degrees F, that controls whether windows are up or down, and what kind of jacket I bring, and how much water I drink...

If he saw 77 degrees C on the dial, the temp must have been taken at the turbo, while the casing was being forged.

It's not a big deal really, I just thought it was possible, that's all.
