Cooling Fan Low Speed Specification

I'm trying to get a new resistor (low speed) for the radiator fan module, but first need to get some information in order to trace it better. Could somebody provide me the Voltage and Amperage reading after the resistor during low speed operation. I already know that is 1 Ohm and with this information I can calculate the wattage rating of the resistor. Any help will be appreciated.

Kind Regards
Gustavo Classe

Or possibly calculate the wattage for the fan (12 volts X whatever current it draws) and make sure the resistor can handle that plus some.

Can you post a picture of the old resistor? The various power resistors tend to look very different from one another depending on their rating.
