My father in law has been having electrical problems with his Mini. (S, believe its an 04). The HVAC controls will go out, as well as the cluster illumination, and at times other things such as the headlights will quit working. He took it to the dealer and they stated they tightened a chassis ground. The problem went away for a while but eventually came back. Has anyone else experienced similar issues? He may have said it only happens in colder weather.
