Warranty question??

I have a Mini Cooper S with an errorcode 1498, and the car is registrated first time in august 2005. I have imported the car from USA to Denmark and wants to know if the warranty on this car is worldwide or will a BMW dealer in Denmark not accept my problem as a warranty case, because it is an importcar and not sold through their company.
