I am about to drop my rear sub frame to install a new sway bar. Does anyone have torques for the sub frame bolts, and the rest of the items (struts, links, etc) that I will be replacing? Better yet - If someone has a TIS or something can you just post any torque wrench settings tables out of it for everyone’s reference.

Thanks immensely.

Wes

Thanks 8ball - I had searched, but not read that whole thread. Where are you getting them from - do you have a TIS - if so how is it.
Thanks
Wes

The TIS is interesting because of things like the torque specs and pictures showing parts of the described proceedures, and the info on the 'factory' way-of-doing-things ... but there are also many things missing: Rebuilding of several components isn't discussed - from windshild wiper motors to gearboxes, the factory way is just to take out the old one and stick in a new one.
I've been spoiled, i guess, because the BMC books for old Mini's would show how to do EveryThing ... and the TIS doesn't ...

Hopefully Bently publishers will come out with a manual for the MINI. The TIS cd sucks! I'm glad I saw it before I forked over that much money.

still not worth it in my opinion. The only way I'd take it would be if it was free. Even then I'd complain about how horrible it is.

Hopefully someone will come out with a better manual.
