1,100 miles, a broken door, and and

Well, the move is accomplished - 1,100 miles from the South Plains of Texas to Southeast Lower Alabama. There is now a crack running from the passenger side wiper to the middle of the windscreen. Very early in the trip the auto-unlock on the driver's door began to fail -- I now have to press the unlock toggle and pull the handle 2-5 times to get it to open. The trim for the front hole to receive the air deflector in the back seat mysteriously cracked and is slowly dissentegrating (joining the trim piece over the driver door on the inside of the top). I still don't know if any dealer will give me an oil change after a year of low mileage for free.

But hey I averaged 33 miles per gallon and about as many looks, the Epic still shines, and I still love the car. Now I just have to find a dealer in my new home that will take care of me!

I believe the warranty oil change is by mileage or one year, whichever comes first. You shouldn't have a problem with that.

Thanks Robin, I've heard it both ways on here about the oil change. Since it was driven very little while I was out of the country the OBC still says 14,000 till the next change. It's been right at a year or a little over. When I checked it it was a bit dark. Biggest problem now is getting a dealer to actually return an email or call!

Welcome to L.A. Depending on where you are, Jacksonville, Atlanta or Baton Rouge are your choices. We are in the Mobile area and bought ours from Brian Harris MINI in B-R.
