Finding an independent mechanic form minor maintenance is hard enough here in St.Louis. depending on what your trying to do there are a few options.
I have contacted et tuning which is just before st Louis(Westernside). They claim to have tuned several minis. So far I haven't taken mine up but I'm getting close. They quoted about 6-700$ for the dyno tune. And said they have the equipment to tune the r53 DME.

.....and that's what's keeping me from getting a custom tune for my car. That's a lot of money for 8-12HP (maybe) up at higher RPM's.

i don't know what your mods or needs are but for me I'm way beyond what the stock injectors can put out so the tune would be for 550cc and I'd be looking at around 20-30hp and a fuel happy running car. So that's a bigger bang for my buck. That quote actually included tuning for the new injectors and I believe installing. You may only be looking at around 3-400 on stock injectors. As I'm sure half the time they will spend installing and setting up the car on 550s so it's happy every where else. Then the rest wot tuning.

Just curious...what kind of mods do you have?
