Hey, gang. I was just thinking about some stuff we could do around town and came-up with two ideas. Please post your opinions on them.

1. Fall cruise through Missouri Wine Country with a stop at a vinyard(s) for tastings and eats. Fall colors, MINIs taking the backroads, crisp air, good food and wine with friends afterwards.

2. Kirkwood Greentree Festival Parade. I saw this last year (because it actually goes in front of my house! ) and it looked like a lot of fun. Some sort of Corvette club did it last year and there was a go-kart racing club present. It might be cool to participate with a few MINIs showing off. (Of course, there's a clutch wear issue!)

Anyway, just brain storming. Maybe if something sparks some good interest, we could get the ball rolling on something.

Thanks for the great ideas! We did a fall wine cruise last year, and I have someone working on another for this fall. The Kirkwood idea sounds good too.
What date is th Kirkwood parade? If it doesn't conflict with any current events, we will help you get something planned.

The Greentree Festival Parade is on Saturday, Sept. 18th -- late morning. (Last year it was around 10:00 if memory serves me correctly.) If we had at least six or so cars interested, I think it would be fun. I'll try to get entry particulars from the city in the mean time.


Wine drive already in the works, eh? Cool.

 

DOH! Looks like the Mini of St. Louis sponsored St. Louis Rally is scheduled for that day. Maybe next year...
