My head shaved
My head shaved
I've signed up to support the St. Baldrick's foundation and this means I'm having my head shaved again to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find a cure. Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. And please try to attend the event. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U. S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids.
Please if you are able donate a couple of dollars and also come out to the event.

Sweet. Appreciate what you are doing. Did this myself at our church when we had a young man going thru cancer. It just seemed like the right thing to do.
I hope you hit your goal and post pictures when the deed is done.

Thank you for the response and encouragement 05r50.
I'm a middle aged guy and a temporary baldness and donating some money is not going to effect. It is such a simple little thing to do for a really good cause. This is the second year I have done this and the ones I admire are the young ladies who get their heads shaved for the cause. It is a bit more of a statement for a female in her teens or early twenties to shave their head.
We were in KC yesterday visiting our daughter and her family and we went to their church. A young lady who goes to church there has cancer and all of her sisters have shaved their hair to support her. It was cool to see this strong bound these sisters have.
That is a cool think you did for the young man in your church. Sometimes an act like that can mean allot for another who is having a rough time.
There is a before photo on the St. Baldrics page and I will post an after shot also .
Thanks again,
John Hoffner

In honor of
I noticed that some of the people who have donated are doing so in honor of someone. I plan to have a shirt made with the in honor of names printed on it for people who donate on my page. Please if you know someone who has had cancer include the name at the time you make a donation or email me the name so I can have it printed on the shirt.
Thanks,
John Hoffner
