Hi everyone. I just wanted to say Hi as I officially joined STLMINI today and put the check in the mail this evening. I live in the Kirkwood area and I have an '03 MCS, LY with black roof and bonnet stripes. I have the sport and premium packages as well as the HK stereo, rain sensing wipers and auto dipping mirror. I'm only 100 miles away from finishing the break in period but I'll be taking it to the service department for the second time. Both visits have been for very minor items. The first visit was to fix the weather stripping at the top of the windshield that was coming off at highway speeds. The next visit, on Wednesday, is to check the alignment due to a slight pull to the left. I've checked the tire pressure and all are the same. I also verified that the pull exists no matter what lane I am driving in. I am going to be putting about 1000 or so miles on my baby this coming weekend so I wanted to be sure it was tracking nice and true. Plus, the warranty manual states that alignments are covered the first 2000 miles.
Hopefully I'll be able to join everyone for as many events as possible. This car is so much fun to drive that I rarely need an excuse to take her out. But surely another reason or to won't hurt.
