Sir Brit 15th Annual British Car Show: Sept 18

SIR BRIT (Southern Indiana Regional British Car Club) is holding it’s 15th annual British Car Show on Saturday, September 18, 2010 at Newburgh, IN.

On Friday evening they will have a pre-show party, where you may register early. It will be held at the Old Dam Park. They will serve refreshments and snacks from 7-9 pm.

On Saturday, the popular vote show will feature the Chrome Bumper MGB. They will also have a British Motorcycle class. There will be a best of show and long distance Awards. Door prizes will be given away thought out the day. See http://www.sirbrit.com for the registration form.

The Southern Indiana British Car Club is an organization dedicated to the preservation and enjoyment of fine British automobiles of all marques and vintages. They sponsor many activities, currently including two car shows and several driving events each year. Not limited to Southern Indiana, their membership also encompasses areas in Kentucky and Illinois as well. They meet on the second Monday of each month, at the Pizza Chef restaurant in Newburgh, In. Dinner at 6pm, with the meeting at 7 pm. If you enjoy fine automobiles of British Heritage, you are cordially invited to attend their meetings or other functions.

 

They had a nice turnout for this show. A few REALLY sweet MINI's. A couple of Jaguar XKEs caught my eye.

Some yahoo left a card on my windshield though.

 

Hahaha, I figured that was your car. I just had to do it. I probably even seen you there I just don't know what you look like. I've got a long red beard and long hair. I had a red MINI hat on.

We had three MINI's in one spot on Sunday! One even went on the drive! The club is gathering steam. Chug-a-chug-a.

 

I didn't even realize we could be in the show. I didn't see MINI anywhere on their entry form so I didn't even consider it. Next year we all need to join in the fun!

 

Thats not a bad idea. I saw you as you were driving away. I was conversing with the gentleman who had the white MINI vert in the show.

Just look for the balding short fat guy.
