My neighbor is looking to purchase a 2006 Mini Cooper Convertible. She found this one in the Auto Trader:

I am very suspicious of this vehicle because it was purchased from at an auction and the "dealer" told my neighbor it had some front end damage that was repaired and he dropped the price from $22k to $19k because it didn't sell the first time he posted it in the Auto Trader.

He didn't post the VIN and when I called pretending to be interested in the vehicle and I asked him for the VIN he told me he did not have it with him...

If anyone has any info, we would appreciate it.
