Hey guys and girls.

New toy! :D

Couple of questions, though.

1. I was thinking of an ALTA 19% pulley, CAI and an MTH tune. Good idea? Hows the reliability affected? Car has 29k miles on it, is a stock 02.

2. Where can I buy these parts and how much do they run? Is there anyone in particular I can go to in the Thousand Oaks area?

Thanks!
Oz

Nice ride! and Welcome to NAM!

I have had Alta's CAI, 19% and MTH among other mods for about 19k miles not and my car has 30k... and no problems...

oh, you can get them from www.altaminiperformance.com directly or you can also get them from ebay among other places...

go for it! you will feel like you got a new car.... specially when u hear the SC whine and it does loud!

I would like to recommend central coast coopers. Scott from there is great. He is in oxnard, so it's about 20 minutes or so from you.

Great guy to work with. Really a pleasure last saturday

805-487-4748 Ask for scott .

Just talked to Scott, and will be seeing him tomorrow, hopefully. He lives in TO as well, so I get to try out the pulley first hand.

I'm glad he's a really good guy. Peter from M7 recommended him quite highly, so I have been pretty pleased with the work . I hope you have as great of an experience with them as I have .. It was raining when I rode in his car .

There are plenty of resources on NAM for the pulley debates. Personally, I chose the 15% pulley for longevity issues. I have to admit I'm a big proponet of Randy Webb though. you can check out his FAQ's at http://www.webbmotorsports.com and most of your questions will be answered.
