Phantom Run: Independence Day
Phantom Run: Independence Day
This will be a one-time post.
Tomorrow is the birthday of our great country. I understand that many of us will be commemorating the day in a variety of manners. BBQ's, parades, campouts.
As we all know, however, there is some lag time in the morning. So, why not an Independence Day Run up the tallest of our Coastal Range!
This may, or may not, be something worth taking the time for y'all. I am proposing a simple cruise up Cerro Noroeste Road to the summit of Mt. Pinos.
Since our country's freedom from King George was not easy, this run is also not for the faint of heart. There are tons of twisties, plenty of obstacles (gravel everywhere), no guard rails, falling rocks, blind curves, etc.
If interested, let's hook up tomorrow morning at the Jack N the Box at the Frazier Park exit off the I-5 at 7:30am.
Hoping someone will be there.
Let's start an Independence Day tradition.!
