Bob Smith MINI
Bob Smith MINI
Okay went for my 25K today at Bob Smith MINI in Calabassas.
I needed the regular 25k + the windows weren't working (rolling up or down) and I asked them to check the brakes. So got there at 7:00 a.m. (left the house at 5 a.m.) and they got started. They did the oil change, fixed the windows, noticed the brake pads needed to be replaced, did that, and then noticed my reverse lights weren't working so fixed that too.
Nicole was my service advsior. She is great. Knowing I wasn't from the area, she let me know about the "mall" down the street, mentioned a Barnes and Noble and a Williams Sonoma and that the shuttle would take me there and pick me up if I wished. If not I could just use one of the complimentary computers to surf the net while I waited. It would be about four hours... Well, I surfed the net for about an hour and then took the shuttle to the mall. Spent two hours there and then called the shuttle to go back to the dealer. Waited another forty minutes due to the reverse light problem and then got my MINI back good as new!
I vote for Bob Smith if you have to get service done, they have always been good. (I still wish we had an IE dealer though).

I just took my MCS in to Bob Smith on Monday for my first 10K service as my office is only 2 blocks away, it's pretty convenient. I was able to get my appointment a week from when I called, which was MUCH faster than what Universal City could do. I dropped my car off at 10:15, and it was washed and ready to go at 3PM. They did the oil change, updated the software and switched out a hose (per recall). Nicole was also my service adviser.
