Key falling apart`

Key falling apart`
My MINI key is crumbling! Yes, My MINI is old (2002 MC) but I only have 44,896 miles on her). I have no other keys on the ring with my MINI key. Yet the "wings" started crumbling recently an now are gone completely. Shouldn't a key last as long as a car? My MINI is in great shape!
Also, the black MINI circles in the middle of the wheel rim (5-spoke) are falling off. I've lost 3 by now. You can see the brush marks from the original adhesive.
The MINI logo on the hatchback is starting to disintegrate, too! You'd think MINI would be proud enough of the brand to make these identifiers more permanent.
Where do I get these"?

The chrome on my wife's 2011 MINI is wrinkling on the drivers side headlight bezel and the drivers side door handle... Also the plastic on the arm rest is wrinkling and peeling. I'd say fit and finish is lacking... But luckily the replacement parts aren't all that expensive...
