Extended Maintenance - worth it???

I am not sure if I will get a reply, but does Anyone found good deal on extended maintenance pricing? I have about 4 months before my original maintenance expire but want to get an idea of what's out there. If the price is right I don't mind get it sooner.

Do you think its worth it to get the extended maintenance package due to LA traffic which will wear clutch and brake faster? Also just want to confirm extended maintenance also covers clutch replacement due to normal wear and tear, right?

Thanks all in advance.

A lot of it depends on where the work would be done. If you're the type that will continue to take the car to the dealer (and pay dealer prices) even after the "free" maintenance period has expired, then the extended maintenance plan might make sense.

When I bought my MINI, I got a free maintenance extension from 3yr/36k to 4yr/50k, but didn't have a single recommended service come due during the extended period, so I would have been upset if I had actually paid for it. After 80k+ miles (and a bunch of autocross events), I'm still on the original factory brake pads and clutch, so I didn't even get those replaced under the agreement.
