mini/MINI run in Fallbrook May 7th!
Location: Fallbrook and surrounding twisties
Notes:
Don't miss the Fallbrook Run! This year the event is Saturday May 7th. This is considered our best run every year by many since Fallbrook is packed with twisty country roads. It's absolutely beautiful! Mark W is a lifetime resident of Fallbrook and our runmaster again this year. We'll meet up at the corner of 76 and South Mission Road in the Daniel's Apple Market parking lot. Arrive sometime after 9 to head out on the run at 10. We would love to have some folks who aren't familiar with our group, SDMinis, join us this year!
Directions:
From Interstate 15 take Hwy 76 WEST
From Interstate 5 take Hwy 76 EAST toward Fallbrook and Bonsall.
River Village Center is on the corner of 76 and South Mission Road
See ya there!

I live in Temecula;and sadly I'll be working that day until 4.
Question Spank, do you have a lot of mechanically knowledgeable people in your group who could possibly help me out with my mini as I have questions and some small problems that I have not been able to find a reliable shop around here to help with out raping my wallet.
Hope you have a good run. How often do you do these things?

I help folks out with their minis (classics) but can't say I know much about the new ones (not 100% what year you need help with). Swing by my place in Escondido some weekend and I can probably help you out if I'm not prepping my own junk for a race (like this weekend-- my wife is going to the run without me).
We're a super informal club with an affiliation to MOALA. We've got a good mix of classics and new ones with many of us bi-mini-ual. We have 1 breakfast "meeting" a month and then try to plan one event a month, but we rely on members to step up and spearhead the events. No dues, no hierarchy which also means lots of last-minute finalization of plans. We're the "officially recognized" Mini club for the San Diego British Car Club Council and help with the British Car Day and Rolling British Car Day, but that really doesn't mean a whole lot. We just have some representatives on their board.
The Fallbrook Run historically has been the best attended run, but the past couple years attendance has waned to a dozen or so. All depends on how many come down from LA.
So if anyone out there is interested in either the run OR in maybe hooking up with us for future events, shoot me an email/pm and let me know if you want to be added to our email roster (for those concerned: your email addresses are NOT shared -- not even with other members).
