looking for mini cooper specialist place for service

Hi-

Mini cooper wants to charge $180 for lube oil filter since it is not my scheduled service.

I am looking for a mini cooper specialist place who can do this for me. I live near the boarder of Orange County and Los Angeles County.

Any recommendation for trusting and excellent service place I can bring my mini to?

Not necessarily around the corner from you, but talk to Danny at Minicorsa. He's always who I recommend.

Did a google on mini cooper specialist and came across Ronin Autowerks in Fullerton. Yelp had 19 reviews, all 5 stars.

I made an appointment for Ronin this Saturday. He said he uses Mobil 1 5W30 and Bmw filter (same as on mini cooper)

I have 4400 miles right now.

iirc, M1 5w30 isn't an approved oil, only the 0w40 is.
