Well, I went over to Crevier BMW over the weekend to take my MC in, and I walked over to the Mini Dealership to see my sales guy Christian. I was surprised, they had more S's on the lot than Coopers! They must have had 12 S's on the lot when I went over there. Anyway, I wonder if the recent price hike has been the reason why the Coopers are selling and the S's are sitting on the lot. Hmmm....

Anyway, just thought it was interesting...

are they still charging 1000+ for dealer add-ons? I like the people there, including Christian, but man... I don't dig paying above MSRP.

Agreed. I was all set to buy from Chrisitian until he told me there's no way around the markup on an S. To bad for them, as I'm really close by their dealership and I am going to get a lot of accessories.

I'm picking up my S from Long beach MINI this month at no markup.

Yeah, it's really weird, they have some of the Cooper S's at large markups, and I saw one that wasn't marked up at all.

I'm in agreement with you guys, I love Christian and the other guys/gals there, but the S's are just too much right now... I hope they go down, for the sake of the people that want an S (like my parents)...

But I love my Cooper!

Yeah I live about five minutes from there, but opted for Long Beach Mini. Waited 12 months, but I feel that it was worth it. I will probably go to Crevier for service though, I went there a lot for my M3, and they do good work.
