Got my '05 JCW Mini tinted!

ALL:

Just got my MINI tinted yesterday. Here are the before and after pics.

AFTER: Using ForumulaOne Pinnacle 35% (high end version of LLUMAR)

So here is what I did...

All around (but windshield) has 35 (FormulaOne Pinnacle - high end version from LLUMAR). Limo tint (5%) for the sunroof. Havent been happier and its the nicest tint job I ever had.

I got it done at TintMan in Murrieta. I live in San Diego but this guy was highly recommended and I wanted an excuse to drive around. I found out that it was easily 100 bucks cheaper to go up there than get it done in San Diego plus I get better tint! This stuff will not interfere with radio signals, etc. which is a must in this day and age.

I talked to the guy/owner (Ricky) and he mentioned that any member from NAM would get a discount. I am doing my diligence to pass on the news to any MINI owners like myself that had a hard time finding a good tint shop. Btw, sorry for the flash... didnt realize it was flashing until it was too late. (cant go back now).

Nice........

and it's BRG as well! Extra nice.

I did my rearseat side windows today with 20%. Probably do the doors tomorrow with 35%.

Then to attempt the hatch with 20%.

Yours looks very very nice.

You may want to do the back window on the rear darker like 35 or more if you cant stand headlight glare. Against his recommendation I put 5% on my sunroof which is already tinted at the factory. Well, part of me thinks I should have gone with his recommendation with a 35. It will still make it darker as far as light and heat but it wont cancel out the "moonroof" capabilities. Such as seeing the stars at night and reduces the "open" feel. I like it dark so I am good but important enough to mention.

Cool... BRGs all the way!
