I was on Meetup.com looking for various meetups and entered "mini cooper" in the search bar. Unfortunately there werent any organized meetups but it showed a list of 70 people who are waiting for someone to organize a mini cooper meetup group. Anyone here wanna do it? I'd join.

www.scmm.org has a great bunch of enthusiasts in the L.A. area. The old meetup section was based down south and most already knew about SCMM. They have events all over LA and the inland empire as well as Ventura County.

One of the probems with being a MEETUP organizer is that it costs $$ to keep it going and I think that was the main reason that the MEETUP group was recently disbanded. Notice that the majority of these posts are OLD. Since there was already a great group, most have found it by now. There are enough events that the meetup group was unnecessary. There is also another group CCC that supports charity causes.

I belong to WCM (West Coast Minis) based in the San Diego area as well as SCMM. WCM is a lot smaller but GREAT people there too!
