If you like the blues/blues rock there ain't no better place to go on the 9th,10th & 11th of October than this festival. Great music, excellent food, (especially the barbeque), and the best location for the blues anywhere. The festival attracted over 100,000 folks last year from all over the US...and some from across the sea. The music is FREE and the Mississippi River is visable from the main stage location. There's also a gospel stage and an acoustic stage, along with all kinds of flea market stuff. The main street of Helena is blocked off for the event and you can park just about anywhere.

I've attended lots of music festivals and in my humble opinion nothing comes close to this one....give it a try.

You might ask though....would I park my new MINI at the festival, "just anywhere". The answer is: I'm taking my 98 Lumina. This is not because bad stuff happens, but I've only had MINI for two weeks and I'm still overprotective.

MINI or not, you need to attend this event, it's great fun.
