AZ: European car meet
AZ: European Car Meet, Thursday, July 1st
Hi, just visiting from bimmerfourms.com & wanted to invite all the local AZ Mini's to this European car meet.
7pm on Thursday, July 1st, 2004
In-n-Out Burger on Ray & I-10 (more like the NW corner of Ray & Priest)
Come out and have fun talking everything cars, motorsports, & discuss upcoming autocrosses/track-events w/ fellow enthusiasts...and, tentatively, we may be going to F1 Race Factory afterwards for some good ol' indoor kart racing.
FYI: stupid acts (annoying rev'ing, burnouts, racing/speeding on public roads, etc...) will not be well tolerated.
The plan is to make this a twice-a-month event (1st & 3rd thursday of every month) w/ the vision of attracting a fun & friendly crowd, and creating a better alternative to the scottsdale pavillion's car-show
We had an awesome turnout last time where 65+ cars showed up. Not sure if anyone had an accurate count of cars...but there were +40 VW's, 17 BMWs, and 8-9 Audi guys. Also, there are no worries of attracting bad attention from the local police because a chandler police officer did pay us a quick vist @ the last event and he didn't mind one bit that we were having this relatively big gathering.
hope to see some mini's out there this time around,
Jason
