I won't be able to make the rally after all. I have to leave for a funeral in Ohio this morning.

Do I need to have Navigator Experience? I'm a good navigator I guess and wouldn't mind taking part in this, where do I need to go and what do I have to do?

do you know where mead gardens is? it's right behind St. John Lutheran in Winter Park. I think it starts at 9. i could use a navigator :smile:

My family and I were leaving Brians after breakfast this morning when my 2½ year old daughter yells, "look Daddy... it's a MINI". When I look up, I saw three Minis motoring along Orange Ave. When we pulled out of the lot (in the family car ), another Mini pulled up along side us. I asked the navigator if there was a rally. The light turned green and she had just enough time to say "yes". We saw two more on the way home.

I just got my electric blue MCS on 5/5, so I never got an invitation to the rally. Bummer.

Looking forward to the next one...

The Daytona meet sounds cool. I'm also a cyclist, so I'm familiar with the Old Dixie Hwy portion of "The Loop". That's got to be one of the nicest stretches of road in Florida.

I'm not sure in you're aware of it, but The Loop is being threatened by development. They're planning to build a massive subdivision and 4-lane Old Dixie. My wife drove through the area this past weekend and said there's a lot of "Save the Loop" signs.

I wonder if we could help?

 

Hey everyone! Just wanted to get everyones thoughts on the Downtown MINI rally on sunday. We are all open to suggestions for the next event and are hoping everyone will be willing to help organize a bigger event in the future. Your opinions matter most, because after all, you are MINI owners! We do want to say "Thank You" to everyone that came out to motor. It wouldnt have been a success without you!!! Also. let me know who needs tix to the Italian Job premier on May 29th at Pointe Orlando. The show is at 7:30, but we will meet at about 6:30 on the second level of the parking garage. It will be shut off to everyone (except MINI's of course). We have some left, but when they're gone, they're gone. Thanx, LT
