I have a 04 R53, that drove fine until I parked and went away for a week. I came home everything seems normal until I tried to start it.
Pulled the P1692 code. I have done a lot of reading and tried almost everything. Here is what I noticed that I have not come across during my google search.
I turn the car to position two, I hear a clicking noise near the steering wheel area.
Then my temp gauge needle went to max then slowly move back down.

The car will crank but not turn over

1. Battery charged, tried another battery, jumped
2. check all the fuse and relay.
3. Checked and clean the grounds
4. I have a crank sensor on the way.
5.An INPA cable on the way
6. Reset the ecu.

Does anyone have a throttle body I can try
I am thinking it is the Immobilizer.
