OK, I know the general reasoning for this... but if you're going to allow signature pics that take up a good amount of space, is it fair to limit to only 300 characters? Why not 400, or 450, or 500?

Yes, of course, I ask this for selfish reasons... I hit the 300 limit when adding my Motoring ID. Of course, if there was a way to add your Motoring ID as part of your post headers (much like your "Location"), that would help too... since it is now an "official" ID system from MINIUSA, it would be easier to justify than something like MMC.

 

you could always create a signature pic, with all your info typed in it...

 

I rather have the # of characters raised and have a guidline for the max font size. This takes up less bandwidth then full picture signatures.

 

I upped the limit to 500 characters. If we see that it creates problems with page layouts or that it is abused in some way we'll need to return it to 300. Thanks for the suggestion!
